What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Manager/Sr. Simulator Technician position at ENGINEERING SUPPORT PERSONNEL INC?
Position Summary:
ESP Employee. Hands on working Site Manager, full time on site, eight (8) hours per day, Monday thru Friday, contributing to daily simulator maintenance and operations. Has overall responsibility for compliance with contract requirements, and directly supervises all personnel assigned to the Site. Focal point for all user/contractor interface on-site.
- Reports to the ESP Program Manager.
Experience:
- Site Manager will have at least five (5) years of electronic maintenance experience with System Administration qualifications (Security certification) of which three (3) years are in maintenance management.
- Site Manager will have a Simulator Maintenance Technician III (COMS) background.
- Minimum experience shall be exclusive of formalized training and include six (6) years simulator maintenance of which two (2) years demonstrate complex maintenance equivalent to all major areas of trainers described in the contract.
- Possess a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position; experience should include Customer Service and Technical Support, Data Administration, Knowledge Management, Network Services, System Administration, and Systems Security Analysis.
- Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II), Computer Systems Administrator II.
- Meets the Minimum Credential requirements and maintains the minimum training requirements as identified in DoD 8570.01M.
- Possess current certification in CompTIA Security or equivalent
- Possess applicable CE/OS Certifications Proficiency in electronics, instrumentation, and computer systems is mandatory.
Education:
Graduate from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute, or complete factory/formal training on the devices named in the contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interface with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on all training device and contract matters.
- Manages, directs, and advises device maintenance technicians and staff in fulfilling all contractual requirements.
- Interface and coordinates with Program Manager and ESP management regarding site operations and objectives.
- Makes duty assignments, publishes work schedules, and approves timecards.
- As the Site Quality Control Manager, implements, monitors and ensures Quality Control, HAZMAT and Safety programs are maintained.
- Generates contract field service reports and other reports as needed.
- Supply supervision.
- Janitorial supervision.
- Ensures records and reports are submitted timely and accurately.
- Capable of performing duties as technician and operator.
- Serves as Site Safety Officer and Security Manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Evaluate operational effectiveness and recommends/implements changes to improve operational readiness.
- Performs promotion and performance appraisals of assigned personnel.
- Ensures that proper and proficient staffing is maintained.
- Other duties as assigned by ESP Program Manager
