DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER (HRBP)

Position Overview:
The Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic leader responsible for aligning human resources strategies with business goals across the organization. This role serves as a consultant to senior management on HR-related issues, proactively providing insights on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. The Director HRBP will partner closely with leadership to foster a high-performance culture, drive change management initiatives, and support overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, understanding the business and influencing the people agenda to align with strategic objectives.
- Partner with business leaders to identify workforce needs and develop talent strategies to address current and future challenges.
Talent Management:
- Lead efforts in talent development, succession planning, and performance management to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices.
Change Management:
- Drive change management initiatives, including organizational restructures, cultural transformations, and process improvements.
- Develop communication strategies to support change initiatives, ensuring alignment and engagement across all levels of the organization.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention, leveraging data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Oversee HR policies and practices, ensuring they are up-to-date, compliant with legal requirements, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Manage HR metrics and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to improve overall HR effectiveness.
Leadership Development:
- Develop and execute leadership development programs, equipping managers with the skills and tools to lead effectively.
- Act as a coach and mentor to senior leaders, supporting their professional growth and development.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other HR functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits) to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
- Communicate effectively across the organization, ensuring alignment and transparency in HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner at the Director level or above, with a strong track record of driving HR initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
- Experience in change management and leading large-scale projects.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
