The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, training and onboarding, benefits and leave, reviewing and maintain employee HR files, and enforcing company policies and practices. All duties are performed while adhering to and administrating company policies and State, Federal and JCAHO compliance. This position always maintains confidentiality.

- PEO Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Enlightened Recovery facility and our PEO, managing all communications, requests, and HR needs.
- Credentialing, Background: Assist in the onboarding process credentialing, verification, background, and medical clearance process for all new hires, ensuring compliance is met.
- Orientation, Training & Development: Collaborate with department leads to facilitate training sessions for new and existing staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge, and ensuring compliance. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that all HR practices align with PEO guidelines, as well as federal, state, and The Joint Commission industry-specific regulations.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve any employee concerns or issues, leveraging PEO resources when necessary. Performs routine tasks regarding productivity, recognition, and morale of staff.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain and manage accurate, compliant, records of all HR-related documents and activities.
- Hiring: Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Maintains state and Joint Commission compliance.
- Assists with scheduling New Hires Medical Clearance, fingerprinting appointment as needed.
- Enters New Hires in Portal as needed.
- Utilizes One Drive and creates folders to store important documents.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, races, etc.; demonstrates the ability to successfully deliver culturally responsive services; and manages any cultural related issues of clients as it pertains to the job description.
