We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Reimbursement Analyst in our Conshohocken, PA Office.
Responsibilities
Summary:
The Reimbursement Analyst supports the Expected Pay area of the Reimbursement department by performing post-payment analysis to identify payment variances (overpayments and underpayments) and resolve issues directly with the payor. This position will be considered hybrid with a mix of at home and in office work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs analytical review of payment data to ensure proper payments using Excel, SQL, and Tableau
- Reviews and confirms correct set up of new profiles in contract modeling system
- Works closely with Managed Care executives to obtain contract requirements
- Generates data queries to extract payment information from the billing system
- Develops and uses database and tableau reports to monitor key data.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate and work well with others
- Organized, detail oriented with excellent follow through abilities. Can handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Rules/regulations of Medicare/Medicaid and other government payors as well as commercial insurers preferred.
- Knowledge of Medical and insurance industry terminology preferred.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Healthcare administration preferred.
- One to Two years’ experience in analytical work in reimbursement, financial management, managed care, or healthcare administration
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced Excel and Database skills
- Billing systems
