We are looking for a caring and hardworking Full-Time Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide services to patients receiving hospice care in Kitsap County, including homes, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, transferring, and incontinence care.
• May perform light housekeeping such as keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, changing sheets, and making their bed.
• Meeting the safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly: footstools, side rails, oxygen, etc.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the RN Case Manager.
• Adhering to the organization’s documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current and up-to-date WA Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA)
• Current driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation
• CPR Certified through the American Heart Association 
• Must have at least a year of experience in a similar setting. 
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to transfer and position patients independently and safely.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
