Roles and Responsibilities:
Instructional Design (50%)

- Develop instructional materials according to defined standards.
- Create storyboards for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with ISDs, subject matter experts, graphic artists, and developers to produce effective and engaging instruction.
- Follow Agile principles for iterative development.
- Participate in all phases of the instructional design process.
- Develop instructional support materials as needed.
Quality Assurance (50%)

- Conduct thorough testing of applications and multimedia products developed by the team.
- Approach QA with a critical mindset, attempting to find flaws, inconsistencies, or bugs before final delivery.
- Provide clear documentation of issues and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
- Act as a peer reviewer for instructional materials, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Other Contributions

- Assist in maintaining records of our government-furnished equipment (GFE).
- Be an active team player willing to cross-train and assist wherever needed.
- Embrace a problem-solving mindset where "not my job" is not part of the vocabulary—everyone contributes where needed.
- Travel may be required (<10%).
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements/Certifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance within six months of hiring.
- 2 years of experience designing e-learning and creating effective storyboards utilizing the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) framework.
- Exceptional attention to detail—able to identify inconsistencies and potential issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment using Agile and SAM methodologies.
- Technical writing and editing skills related to instructional materials.
- Comfortable working with course authoring software (Storyline or similar).
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, graphic artists, and SMEs.
- A willingness to learn and a forward-thinking approach to new technologies.
Preferred Qualification/Requirements:
- Experience with ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
- Familiarity with blended learning and micro-learning strategies.
- Experience using IADS and version control software.
- Department of Defense (DoD)-related instructional experience.
- Experience with SCORM 2004, Blackboard, Articulate Storyline, and Review 360.
Minimum Education:
- B.A./B.S. or higher in instructional design, adult education, or a related field.
Preferred Education:
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field.
