The role of the Human Capital Coordinator is to undertake a variety of Human Capital administrative, talent acquisition, employee relations and benefits duties. This position will facilitate daily HC functions, such as tracking and updating associate information, assisting with performance reviews and employee relations issues, supporting the onboarding process, coordinating university relations functions, gathering exit interview data, and responding to general human capital or benefits questions. This role will heavily support benefits administration.
The role will also perform tasks related to specific projects to support the growth of enVista as well as be a launching pad within our Human Capital team to grow into a Generalist role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external HC related inquiries or requests and provide assistance. Redirect HC related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person on the team
- Maintain records for associate related data (I-9, payroll, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Assist with onboarding and updating records with new hires
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by assisting periodically in the scheduling of interviews, background checks, etc.
- Act as the Benefits liaison and handle all day to day benefits queries from associates or our broker
- Partner with Vice President of Human Capital to work directly with associates on employee relations issues and management coaching opportunities
- Schedule meetings, HC events and maintain the team’s agenda
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions
- Produce and submit standard and ad hoc reports on general HC activity
- Assist in Human Capital projects
Skills and Experience Needed:
- BA/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
- 2-4 years progressive experience as an HR Coordinator and/or Associate Generalist
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Excel in particular)
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g., UltiPro)
- Ability to work with ATS software
- Proven ability to handle data with confidentiality
- This will be a hybrid role based at our Carmel office
