We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to work onsite in Bradenton, FL (off SR 70 on Lena Rd). This is a long-term contract position (approximately 10 months)
Full-time Monday - Friday from 8 - 5
Payrate : $23 / hr.
It is required that you have experience working in SAGE. Basic A / P and A / R experience is also a requirement. General duties are listed below :
Bank reconciliation :
Comparing bank statements to the company's accounting records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
Invoice processing :
Reviewing and entering invoices, verifying details, and ensuring timely payment.
Account reconciliation :
Balancing accounts payable and receivable to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Financial reporting :
Preparing and compiling financial reports, including summaries of income, expenses, and account balances.
File maintenance :
Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic accounting files.
General ledger updates :
Posting transactions to the general ledger to maintain accurate financial records.
Auditing support :
Assisting with internal audits by providing necessary documentation and verifying data accuracy.
Customer interaction :
Responding to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Data entry :
Recording financial transactions into accounting software, including dates, amounts, and relevant codes.
