Partners Personnel is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for client in the Fairfield, NJ area, for a Contract position. Monday to Friday – possible Hybrid / Remote position after training. Pay $25.00 to 26.50 / hour DOE
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment
- Process employee expense reports, verifying receipts and coding appropriately.
- Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Responsible for monthly accounts payable journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with all accounts payable policies, including travel expenses, vendor approval, and invoice processing.
- Manage IRS 1099 compliance and reporting.
- Oversee the imaging and record retention of all accounts payable documents.
- Build and maintain effective vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements.
- Process cash receipts and assist with accounts receivable transactions.
- Support audit preparation by gathering necessary documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and purchase orders.
- Respond to routine internal and external inquiries regarding account status.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
