WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Composite Fabrication Team, the Composite Layup Technician (Afternoon Shift) will work alongside team members to construct carbon fiber parts for an award-winning aircraft. This is a great job for you if you are looking for a career you can grow with. Other duties may include :
Assist in the preparation of molds and forms
Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materials
Lay-up composite materials following directions and instructions
Vacuum bag parts for oven cure
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Able to work as part of a team to ensure meeting quality standards
High standards for following instructions, work quality and productivity
Some lifting may be required
Able to stand for the majority of a shift in addition to moving about the facility to support the work
Able to work with minimal supervision
Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Authorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the future

Hourly wage shift differential (more $ than morning shift)
