Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Food Safety General Manager in Fontana, CA!
Pay Rate: $95,000-$110,000/yr
Schedule: Flexible
Duties: The Food Safety General Manager will oversee quality and food safety programs, lead the QA/QC team, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage quality and food safety programs to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the QA/QC team across multiple locations.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure food safety compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and regulators.
- Oversee HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense programs and stay updated with industry best practices.
- Handle quality control issues, mock recalls, and critical event management.
Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in food safety and compliance.
- HACCP, Food Defense, and SQF Practitioner certifications preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with quick problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems.
