Job Title: Logistics Billing Specialist
Reports to: Logistics Accounting Analyst
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Purpose:
The Logistics Billing Specialist is responsible for managing invoice processing, supporting account reconciliation, and facilitating carrier payments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Verify billing charges
- Organize and track documents for assigned loads, including carrier rate agreements
- Perform the three-way matching process for invoice payment verification
- Prepare invoices for approval and payment processing
- Resolve any discrepancies in invoices
- Communicate with carriers to address their questions or concerns
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel, and a good understanding of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
Education and/or Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience
- Experience with Truck Mate Software is preferred but not required
