Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems in industrial and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and control panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical systems, including motors, conveyors, pumps, and control panels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems.
- Test electrical circuits and components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve equipment performance.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and system upgrades.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and mechanical components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and automation systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or automation environment.
- Ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
