Description of Position:
The Client Coordinator position provides support to the Epting Events Sales Department and all coordinating Team Members.
The Client Coordinator is the first point of contact for many clients as well as local businesses within the community who are inquiring with Epting Events for upcoming functions. It is this position’s responsibility to gather client information, assign potential clients to available Event Planners, and assist in the scheduling and cancelling of prospective events.
The Client Coordinator is to perform his or her duties accurately and efficiently contributing to overall guest satisfaction and company performance. This role ensures that clients receive the highest standard of service, and is a direct reflection of the hospitality, professionalism, and southern charisma that is Epting Events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable & calm under pressure.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Client Coordinator helps the Sales Department and works directly with clients in regard to events and event inquiries, providing responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Works directly with clients in regard to event inquiries, responding via phone and email
- Responsible for gathering initial contact information for incoming, potential clients
- Enters new client information into Caterease, and assists in assigning prospective functions to available Event Planners
- Assists with updating and maintaining all event calendars
- When needed, updates existing client information
- Schedules and manages all site visits of Epting Events exclusive venues – The Hill, 1055 Barber & Athens Cotton Press (The Press Room & Trade Room)
- Assists in maintaining a tidy front office, conference room, tasting room, and guest area
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite
- Previous office and clerical experience, including customer service
- Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and calendar management
- Familiarity with office management practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
