Duties
- Ensure all operations are conducted in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Perform risk assessments related to manufacturing.
- Plan inventory and oversee manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure the organization's processes remain legally compliant.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Communicate with stakeholders about shifting company priorities and projects.
- Identify opportunities to expand or shift course; based on market changes.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
- Maintain and increase the quality of customer service.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- "Big picture” thinking to address top-level concerns.
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
- Experience budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities.
- Be proficient at assembling and manufacturing all products.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
- BS degree in operations management, business, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations management.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP.
- Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
