Job Description:
As a Construction Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of BBE. The position will assist with permitting and contract administration as well as provide support to both office and field personnel. Position allows for growth potential and the opportunity to learn all aspects of the construction process and management including project coordination, bidding, scheduling, and budgeting as detailed below.
- Assist construction project managers to estimate and adhere to proper budgets, create project schedules, and communicate project updates
- Direct subcontractor, vendor, and supplier process by assembling bid packages including scope of work, bidding process, and needed construction documents
- Maintain accurate work logs of construction activities, job information sheets, and project team rosters
- Oversee construction contract administration and submittal log processes to ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout the construction experience
- Enforce quality control process measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code regulations
Job Qualifications:
- A college degree and Experience in Construction management, engineering, or corporate or construction support.
- Excellent written communication skills are required, must possess strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate good judgment about prioritizing the completion of multiple responsibilities
- Familiarity with legal concepts relevant to the construction industry or to an in-house corporate legal practice, legal processes, systems and rules, or the interest and ability to learn, ability to read and interpret schedules, contract drawings, and specifications is preferred
- Construction scheduling and claims experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
