Golf Operations and Leadership Internship
At Erin Hills, a world-renowned golf destination in the Midwest, we're proud to host the 2025 United States Women's Open. This internship offers students hands-on experience in delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing leadership skills and operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations:
- Manage initial reservations and guest inquiries.
- Assist in the golf shop with sales, inventory, and guest service.
- Coordinate on-course play and ensure pace of play standards.
- Provide comprehensive support for the full guest experience, from arrival to departure.
- Hospitality and Service:
- Uphold Erin Hills' high standards for service, hospitality, and professionalism.
- Actively collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements to the guest experience.
- Represent Erin Hills as an ambassador of the brand during guest interactions.
- Special Events:
- Help to Host a successful 2025 United States Women's Open.
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time commitment: 40-48 hours per week, with an average of 6 days per week.
- Duration: May - October 2025.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the golf course or club industry is preferred.
- Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Hospitality or Professional Golf Management (PGM) program is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with golf management software and POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capacity to stand and work on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to work productively at a desk or computer for extended periods when necessary.
- Available at any point May - October.
