What are the responsibilities and job description for the GSE Operations Manager position at ERMC Aviation LLC?
Responsibilities
Familiarization with and training on all ground service equipment for company and vendor.
Ensuring that company employees are properly trained on all equipment.
Ensuring records are kept on all employees' training records on GSE.
Ensuring company vehicles are fueled and maintained.
The movement and operation of GPU's from location to location.
The movement of airstairs to and from the aircraft.
Other duties as assigned by the local General/Assistant Manager
Creates goals to meet operational standards, service levels, safety, costs, etc. Monitors performance against goals and takes corrective action when necessary.
Responsible for oversight and coordination of assigned station(s) to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance.
Oversees station activities to ensure excellent customer service.
Ensures compliance with Company policies and rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies. Travels to assigned stations on a regular basis.
Builds effective partnerships with internal departments, outside vendors, contractors, business partners, communities and other business entities and identifies new business opportunities.
Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Qualifications
Experience in airline leadership.
Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
