The Manager, Enterprise Process Engineering plays a pivotal role in the advancement of our distribution transformer manufacturing processes. Responsible for managing the process engineering team in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve product quality. This role is strategically positioned within our distribution transformer manufacturing company to operationalize and implement enterprise-level strategies in manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:- Lead the enterprise process engineering team in the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of manufacturing processes and equipment for producing distribution transformers.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and equipment into the manufacturing process, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with the product engineering team to ensure manufacturability of new designs and products.
- Collaborate with and support manufacturing plant leaders and their on-site process, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Manages own budget, including capital expenditures and process improvement projects.
- Work closely with the quality department to ensure that manufacturing processes meet all industry and regulatory standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Six Sigma, 5S, Lean manufacturing and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Mentor and develop the enterprise process engineering team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with 5 years in manufacturing engineering within the distribution transformer industry or similar.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and technological advancements in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience leading and developing engineering and support teams.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
