Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Valid Texas Superintendent or Principal Certification
- Knowledge of effective research: change process, systems thinking, organizational culture and adult learner
- Ability to plan implement, deliver and sustain professional development for school and district personnel
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices, instruction, assessment, school improvement, and organizational culture
- Knowledge of federal and state accountability systems
- Ability to design and build polished slides decks
- Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the Executive Director
- Recommended by ESC Executive Director
CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
- Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities
- Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC
- Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC
- Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes, and procedures
- Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) training and technical assistance to LEAs in the following areas:TIA Applications (Initial, Modify, Expand, Renew)
- TIA Data Submission Process
- TIA Implementation (Calibration, Teacher Eligibility and Assessments)
- Coordinate with other ESC TIA staff in planning and implementing services
- Support ESC Talent Initiatives
- Collaborate with other Talent Initiatives to ensure alignment with EDF
- Develop district communications with TIA schools and keep communications up to date
- Analyze program evaluation data and conduct a comprehensive needs assessment for ongoing program planning and improvement
- Ensure TIA grant compliance by collaborating with LEAs, the ESC and the TEA
- Collaborate with TIA Rural Cohort
- Provide support as needed to LEAs participating in the TIA Rural Cohort
- Work collaboratively with ESC staff to provide consistent instructional and leadership supports
- Provide on-site visits to LEAs as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Additional projects as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Up to 226 working days
- This is an at-will employment position.
- In the event of an economic slump, a reduction-in-force may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.
