What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Master position at Escapology?
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Game Master, facilitating and overseeing interactive games and experiences for guests
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive and memorable experience for all participants
- Manage game logistics, including set-up, briefing participants, and explaining rules
- Monitor game progress and provide hints or assistance when needed
- Ensure the safety of all participants during game play
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of game rooms and equipment
- Handle cash transactions and manage reservations
Experience:
- Conflict management skills to handle any disputes or issues that may arise during game play
- Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional service to guests
- Experience in guest services or hospitality industry is preferred
- Background in theater or events management is advantageous for creating immersive experiences
- Public speaking skills to confidently communicate instructions and engage participants
