The Escobedo Group is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable. While a college degree is not required, a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for multiple entities, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely reporting.
- Process and verify invoices and payments.
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments and account status.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist Accounting Department with any tasks as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Experience in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of ComputerEase software a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
