Especially for Children Circle Pines/Blaine seeks a dedicated preschool or infant teacher to join our teaching team. EFC is a local and family-owned organization providing quality educational childcare for young children since 1976. Teachers at Especially for Children make lasting connections with children, families and each other. Our educational philosophy is centered on The Creative Curriculum, a play-based learning curriculum that allows teachers and children to explore and pursue their unique interests.
We are offering a sign-on bonus for this teacher position at our Circle Pines/Blaine location. A $1,000 bonus will be offered to full-time candidates who possess a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. A $500 bonus will be offered to all other full-time Teacher or Assistant Teacher qualified candidates. Bonuses will be paid in two installments after 30 and 60 days of employment. Bonuses do not apply to any other open positions at Especially for Children unless specified in the job posting.
We seek a qualified Teacher who:
- Relates positively with young children and families
- Has previous experience working with young children in a school, childcare center or licensed daycare (Preferred)
- Has a certification (CDA) and/or college credits in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
- Is passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well a safe environment for young children
- Plans and implements lesson plans and a daily classroom schedule
- Works cooperatively with other team members
