Corporate Financial Planning Analyst

Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights and projections through reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. The FPA will also provide finance support to the accounting team and assist with special projects as needed. A degree in finance/accounting is REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide FP&A support to accounting teams in productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics.
- Identify business challenges and propose solutions.
- Collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights into data.
- Contribute to corporate projects and initiatives.
- Research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support strategic decisions through financial modeling and analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams at all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning Program strongly recommended
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
- Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
- Bachelor's degree and more than five years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
