We seek an Organizational Change Management/Communications Lead to work on-site in Austin, TX., to develop and implement a communications strategy and support materials to inform and guide internal business units and staff through upcoming changes. This role is critical to ensure clear, consistent, and timely messaging to support the transition and adoption of new file storage practices and tools.

Job Summary:

Recently completed a comprehensive assessment to streamline and consolidate its file storage tools, including Box, OneDrive, SharePoint, and personal file storage solutions. The goal is to reduce redundancy, ensure security, and improve the user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy and plan that is aligned with the goals of the client file storage consolidation initiative.
  • Create engaging and informative communications materials (emails, presentations, FAQs, intranet content, handouts, etc.) to inform staff of upcoming changes, timelines, impacts, and required actions.
  • Collaborate with business units, IT leadership, change management teams, and stakeholders to ensure messaging is aligned, clear, and accessible to various audiences.
  • Establish a communications timeline and cadence to guide staff through the transition, including major milestones, training schedules, and support resources.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing training and onboarding materials to help staff adopt new tools and practices.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and adjust messaging and delivery channels as needed.
  • Support changing management activities by addressing user concerns and feedback related to the transition.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in organizational communications, change communications, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate messaging for large organizations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise IT initiatives or tool consolidation projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working with government or public sector agencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
  • Experience in change management or user adoption strategies for enterprise software or systems.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with file storage and collaboration tools (e.g., Box, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Salary : $65 - $75
