What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, International, La Mer position at Estee Lauder?
PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:
Work on projects with and support the SVP/GM in New York, the La Mer International team, and the Regional teams based in the field. Provide support with all day-to-day office needs undertaking a proactive and organized approach to supporting various projects. Build collaborative relationships with internal and external teams to ensure smooth exchange of information. Manage various International events that will enhance brand equity and support international markets.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Develop vision/plan and implement logistics for 4-6 key International meetings per year, including Regional Meetings and New Hire Orientation. Coordinate with International Department and other Global teams to ensure seamless flow of information from NY teams to Regional and Local Market teams.
•In conjunction with the Executive Director/Manager, support the growth of the International department by creating and updating business content for key International presentations, including financials, graphs, and photos. Develop new presentations and materials as needed.
•Support the Education team’s Incentive Competition by coordinating one of their events on behalf of the International Team.
•Manage the department’s budget for each of the International team meetings and identify and elevate potential strategic changes to VP/Director as needed.
•Schedule, organize, and coordinate appointments, conferences, and meetings for the SVP/GM.
•Plan and coordinate business travel both Domestic and International for the SVP/GM.
•Prepare expense reports pertaining to travel and business expenses on a monthly basis.
•General department support: monthly updates and distribution of key documents (rosters, etc), calendar maintenance, set-up for meetings in NY office with international visitors (retailer presentations, orientations for Brand or General Managers, etc.), product closet and department supplies maintenance, file/document management
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
•1-2 years’ experience
•Undergraduate degree
•Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
•Ability to work well under pressure, effectively manage time, prioritize and multi-task
•Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal)
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; must be comfortable in acquiring new computer skills and upgrading knowledge
•Passion for La Mer and global business issues
•Understanding of a luxury aesthetic.
