Position Overview : The Company is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join their team as a Chemical Engineer in the field of Research and Development . The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Chemical Engineering , along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in product and process development. An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) is highly desirable. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies in the development of advanced acoustic mixing technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research and development of the company’s advanced acoustic mixing technology and related equipment.
- Evaluate complex issues such as mixing , mass transport , heat transfer , scaling , process control , and process optimization across various industrial applications.
- Conduct R&D for batch, continuous-batch, and continuous mixing processes, including solid-solid , liquid-solid , and liquid-liquid systems .
- Develop and design chemical processes and equipment from bench scale to production scale , particularly in the context of mixing and other processing methods.
- Work across a broad range of industrial applications, including energetics , pharmaceuticals , batteries / energy storage , and other modern industrial processes.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, including project initiation , technical investigations , protocol preparation , and project completion .
- Apply advanced chemical engineering theories, methods, and techniques to solve complex engineering problems in product development and commercialization.
- Prepare reaction protocols , research reports , grant proposals , and deliver presentations to internal teams, customers, investors, government organizations, and collaborators.
