Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, document preparation, and filings
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Maintain and organize case files, both digital and physical
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions
- Conduct legal research and draft correspondence as needed
- Support the team in all aspects of litigation and case development
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant or in a law firm setting preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Knowledge in Monday.com or readiness to learn the CRM system
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
