Salary Ranges:
$18.00 - $22.87
Position classification will be measured on relevant experience and on-the-job pre-employment test results.
JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Intern’s primary objective is to assist the Human Resources department in handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, and planning company events.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Assists with recruitment and onboarding activities including job fairs, advertising, and onboarding.
- Participate and help organize company events.
- Support projects in Human Resources such as leave administration and record retention.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Should be in the process of obtaining an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field at an accredited college or university.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Team player who is able to work with both internal and external customers in a professional manner
- Respect confidentiality and handle matters with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft application (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Some bending and twisting are required. Routine duties will occasionally require lifting approximately 10-20 pounds (and periodically heavier loads.)
