Description
Hendrick Manufacturing in Carbondale, PA is actively recruiting for a Press Operator. This is a 12 hour shift, 6:00AM - 6:30PM, on a rotating schedule.
- Produce product as described in the shop order
- Perform routine maintenance on machine
- Operate equipment per procedure, to include but not limited to perforating press, pneumatic carts, cranes, forklifts, shears, levelers, hand tooling, surface grinders.
- Sharpen and service tooling as required
- Pull inventory and record usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a basic math skills assessment
- Ability to read a ruler, set calipers and read blue prints
- ability to assemble from blue prints, sketches, and instructions
- Basic math and reading skills
- Tape measure
- Regular attendance is required.
- May be assigned other duties as business needs require.
- Technical or trade school coursework
- 2 years of mechanical or machine operation experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Experience with fine measuring tools including micrometers, etc.
- Forklift experience/Crane experience
