Job Description
Applications are invited for the position of Office Manager.
Reporting to the Laboratory Business Manager within the Eurofins York laboratory in Castleford, you will work with the existing team of test engineers, supporting our customers as they look to design, develop and deliver compliant products to market.
As Office Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of general administrative and financial tasks associate with the electrical testing laboratory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming calls
- Administer Sales and Orders, maintain records and monitor business KPI’s
- Manage invoicing and credit controls for the business liaising with finance as required
- Manage input to company CRM (Hub-Spot) monitoring the delivery and chasing workflow
- Act as Personal Assistant (PA) to the Laboratory Business manger
- Manage receipt and dispatch of goods to customers
- Assist with the administration of on-site workshops and courses
- Manage customer hospitality on site, arranging lunches and refreshments
- Provide IT skills liaising internal and external to resolve IT issues
- Liaise with external contractors to support building maintenance
- Supervise part time administrative support staff as appropriate
Qualifications
NQF level 5 (or similar) with 4 years’ experience in office administration and good knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
Experience with SAGE200 or similar accounting package
Experience in management of people and projects with good communication skill
The ability to work without restriction in the UK and a current passport are required
Being responsible for their actions and taking proactive ownership of tasks and projects
Actively working in, and communicating with, a small team
