We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Manager/Dispatcher to oversee our office operations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day to day operations as well as effective communication within the team and with external partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Oversee dispatching/scheduling of incoming service requests.
- Calling in parts to suppliers and coordinating pick-up
- Utilize scheduling and other office software to streamline scheduling and customer relations
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or a related field, especially
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with dispatching, shipping, receiving, and freight processes.
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
