House Manager- Assisted Living

Job Summary
The Assisted Living Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assisted living facility, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support in a safe and nurturing environment. This role involves managing staff, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting resident rights and enhancing the overall quality of life for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Manage daily operations of the assisted living facility, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state regulations.
• Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
• Foster a positive living environment that promotes resident dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure residents receive appropriate medical attention and support.
• Address resident concerns and complaints promptly while advocating for their rights.
• Organize activities and programs that enhance social engagement and mental stimulation for residents.
• Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of care plans and senior care best practices.
• Experience in home community care or group home settings is preferred.
• Excellent management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Understanding of resident rights and advocacy within a retirement home or memory care context.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
• Proficient in organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
