The Role: Proposal Manager
As our Proposal Manager, you’ll be a key player in shaping Evergreen’s future. In this hands-on, dynamic role, you’ll become an expert in proposal development while forging strategic partnerships with utilities, energy organizations, and partners across the U.S. From managing our opportunity pipeline to crafting compelling value propositions, your work will directly drive our growth and impact.

What You’ll Do
Proposal Management:
o Coordinate the full lifecycle of proposal development, from initial strategy to submission.
o Schedule and lead proposal team meetings, keeping everyone aligned with agendas, action items, and clear follow-ups.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and expertise into compelling narratives.
o Maintain and update opportunities in Salesforce as they move through the pipeline to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
o Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and tone across all proposals.
Content Creation:
o Write and edit proposals, speaking abstracts, and other collateral.
o Develop tailored value propositions that resonate with clients and partners.
o Innovate new ways to present complex data visually, ensuring key metrics shine.
Marketing and Branding:
o Take ownership of the social media strategy, creating engaging posts that amplify our brand and mission.
o Collaborate with teams to gather and highlight stories, accomplishments, and updates to share Evergreen’s impact.
o Process Development and Operationalization:
o Implement and refine processes to improve proposal development and tracking.
o Maintain and organize a centralized content library, graphics repository, and resume database to support seamless and consistent proposal development.
o Gather metrics from existing programs by collaborating with other teams to inform proposals.
o Leverage lessons learned to refine internal processes, making every proposal stronger and more efficient.

What You Bring to the Table:
o At least 3 years of experience in proposal development or writing.
o Experience in consulting, energy efficiency, decarbonization, or utility programs? That’s a big plus.
o A knack for branding and marketing—or a strong willingness to learn and grow in this area.
o Strong knowledge of proposal management processes and the ability to lead collaborative efforts to deliver standout submissions.
o Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills that can capture attention and make complex ideas clear and compelling.
o A sharp eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to quality.
o Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining focus and meeting deadlines.
o Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce; bonus points for experience with InDesign or graphic design tools.

Location
This is a remote position, and candidates may reside anywhere within the 14 states where Evergreen operates. However, we prefer candidates based in Denver, Boulder, or Golden, CO, to facilitate occasional in-person collaboration and engagement.
