Are you a skilled accounting professional seeking a dynamic opportunity? Look no further! Our Accounting & Finance team is seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Accounting Specialist Lead . In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting our team with high-volume, high-level transactions, primarily focusing on month-end close activities.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Utilize your strong corporate-level accounting experience to effectively manage complex Accounts Payable (A / P) and month-end close issues.
- Prepare account reconciliations, accrual entries, and process monthly recurring invoices with precision and attention to detail.
- Post batches and meticulously record details of business transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Enter cash transactions into accounting software as required, maintaining meticulous records.
- Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and communicate findings effectively with team members.
- Collaborate with staff to reconcile accounts, provide reports, invoices, spreadsheets, and other essential data to maintain customer accounts.
- Ensure all financial information, including journal entries and account reconciliations, is supported by relevant documentation.
- Proactively resolve customer and vendor discrepancies, monitoring customer account details and reconciling outstanding or questionable invoices.
