Job Summary
The Assistant HR/Scheduling Coordinator ensures smooth HR operations and efficient Evershine Care, LLC staff scheduling. This position supports the HR Manager with various tasks related to human resources and staff coordination, ensuring compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
Duties
- Human Resources Support
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including HR files and compliance documentation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Help manage and track employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Provide first-line support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries.
- Scheduling Coordination
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts while adhering to budget constraints and staffing ratios.
- Respond promptly to scheduling conflicts and make real-time adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate with department managers to align staffing needs with operational requirements.
- Monitor attendance, track overtime, and manage time-off requests.
- Utilize scheduling software to maintain an up-to-date roster.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, as well as internal policies.
- Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation for regulatory reviews.
- Generate and analyze reports related to staffing, overtime, and other HR metrics.
Other Duties
- Collaborate with the HR Manager on special projects and initiatives.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
