Job Overview:
The Process Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of the injection molding process. This position involves setting up and monitoring production equipment, conducting quality checks, and troubleshooting machinery to meet production and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and start molds, along with necessary auxiliary equipment, for each production run per outlined work instructions.
* Perform facility start-up and shutdown as needed.
* Communicate effectively with maintenance, tool room, and production personnel to meet productivity targets.
* Address quality assurance requests by adjusting and documenting process changes.
* Perform job changeovers, including the removal and storage of tools and auxiliary equipment.
* Conduct safety checks on all machines and processes for secure operations.
Requirements:
* 4 years of related experience or training in a similar role.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure documents.
* Valid industrial forklift license.
* Knowledge of injection mold processing and setup procedures.
* Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and swing shifts as required.
