We are seeking a Manager, CRM (and Marketing Automation) to oversee the CRM function, including both consumer and customer/HCP marketing programs. This is a leadership role, managing both strategy and execution of omni-channel marketing automation initiatives to drive engagement and revenue growth. You will lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technology, and other departments to deliver seamless, data-driven experiences. 
 
As the Manager, CRM, you will develop and implement strategies for lifecycle marketing and lead the execution of conversion and retention campaigns across email, SMS, and other digital channels. You will manage and optimize both professional (HCP) and consumer-facing programs using platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud for the US and other international markets. This role requires deep technical and marketing automation expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to leverage data insights to enhance the customer experience.

Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
 
CRM & Marketing Automation Strategy:
  • Lead the team and be hands-on in the development and execution of CRM and marketing automation strategies for both consumer and HCP segments.
  • Design lifecycle marketing programs to increase customer engagement and long-term retention.
  • Manage the CRM team and ensure alignment across business functions.
 Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the creation and execution of professional and direct-to-consumer email and SMS campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop and manage the CRM campaign calendar, including automated journeys and ad hoc campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns deliver a cohesive, omni-channel experience across platforms.
 Segmentation & Journey Mapping:
  • Identify customer segments and develop journey maps to design targeted campaigns.
  • Implement retention strategies, automating workflows based on customer lifecycle stages.
 Data Management & Insights:
  • Leverage data to drive customer-centric decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • Create segments, data extensions, and reports to measure campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with data teams to activate first-party data in marketing automation tools.
 Technical Oversight:
  • Ensure proper integration of CRM systems with other digital platforms (e.g., websites, customer portals).
  • Manage data extensions, SQL queries, and automation configurations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop standard work processes for CRM, lead generation, and campaign management.
Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Partner with marketing, digital product, analytics, salesforce, and sales teams to drive campaign effectiveness and alignment.
  • Manage external vendors and agencies to support marketing automation initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
 
Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 6 years of experience in marketing automation
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio).
  • Experience with HubSpot, HTML for emails, and writing queries for data extension
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, data-driven marketing, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Proven experience managing omni-channel marketing programs for both consumer and professional audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Office Location - Newport Beach (hybrid onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
  • Position reports directly to Executive Director, Digital Products
 
Compensation & Total Rewards 
The expected pay range for this position is $137,000 to $172,000.  Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role-relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications, and more.
