Custom Woodworker

SCOPE/POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled woodworker to join our team and contribute to the creation of our bespoke woodworks. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for crafting custom pieces according to client specifications and design requirements. From initial material selection to final finishing touches, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and craftsmanship of each piece we produce.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven experience as a woodworker or cabinetmaker with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

· Experience operating CNC machinery and CO2 laser equipment preferred.

· Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming and operation.

· Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, including joinery, carving, and finishing.

· Familiarity with a variety of woodworking tools and equipment, both hand and power.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Physical stamina and dexterity to work with wood and operate machinery for extended periods.

· Knowledge of wood species, characteristics, and best practices for woodworking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Interpret and execute detailed woodworking plans and designs.

· Safely operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision.

· Cut, shape, and engrave wood components using a variety of techniques to create finished products.

· Assemble and finish woodworks, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern fabrication methods.

· Collaborate with clients, designers, and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of tools and materials.

· Adhere to established safety protocols and best practices for woodworking.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50lbs and to stand for long periods of time on your feet.

LOCATION / WORKING ENVIRONMENT

· Evolve Golf’s headquarters in Wilmington, NC,

· This job operates in a professional office environment.

· You will have the option to periodically work from home.

TRAVEL

· This position will require limited overnight travel.

WORK SCHEDULE / EXPECTATIONS

· This position requires working standard business hours Monday-through-Friday. After hours communications and the ability to work during non-standard hours may occur when the need arises.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
