People Operations Generalist
Location: Boulder or Arvada, CO | Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 per year | Employment Type: Full-Time | Clearance: Must be Eligible for US Security Clearance
A leading aerospace and defense company is seeking a People Operations Generalist to join its growing HR team. In this role, you will be a frontline advocate for employees, providing direct support across onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee engagement functions. You’ll work both at HQ and at the company’s manufacturing site, helping ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR contact, responding to employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and systems
- Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and a positive employee experience
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR systems, reporting, and audits
- Serve as the dedicated HR partner for the manufacturing site, fostering strong employee relations on the floor
- Support internal communications, employee events, and culture-building initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable employment laws
- Manage employment verifications and contribute to policy development and change communication
Qualifications:
- 4 years’ experience in People Operations or Human Resources
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
- Experience working with multi-site or manufacturing teams preferred
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities discreetly and effectively
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $60,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
