To perform laboratory tests according to prescribed standards and procedures. To determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of solid, liquid or gaseous material for such purposes as quality, process and environmental controls and / or product

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and analyze incoming raw material, in-process and final product samples
- Maintain laboratory instruments
- Maintain accurate and complete records of sample analysis
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Analyzes and interprets data obtained from technical experimentation and
effectively communicates these results, as well as any observed inconsistencies
and proposed improvements, to his/her supervisor.
- Actively participates in company safety program
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. Degree in Chemistry or related discipline
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with management and production personnel.
- A working knowledge of laboratory equipment, its function and maintenance.
- Must be able to multi-task various laboratory activities.
- Experience handling hazardous chemicals
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to work with computers.
