Catering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join this upscale hotel. This leadership role will oversee and review all on-site accounting functions, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, credit and collections, income audit, payroll, and the monitoring of operational systems, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

• 4–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Hospitality Industry
• Previous finance managerial experience, ideally in hospitality
• At minimum, an AA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting/Finance; a BA is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• The ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate on-site accounting with the Director of Finance and serve as liaison for corporate accounting
• Oversee Accounts Payable and support timely, accurate billing with Accounts Receivable
• Resolve guest billing issues and track rebates/adjustments
• Conduct credit research and manage credit applications
• Balanced daily Income Audit reports and completed general ledgers and bank reconciliations
• Ensure timely month-end close and accurate financial statements
• Manage daily cash functions and prepare balance sheet analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
