Job Summary
The Clinical Support Lead an outward facing role interacting closely with key attorney referral sources to resolve service issues.
Job Duties
- Assist with attorney portal requests
- Will work closely with the RCM/Billing, Settlements, and Documentation team to ensure that referral sources requests are responded to efficiently and effectively.
- Lead our Diagnostic Care Support
- Log diagnostic scripts in the appropriate spreadsheet.
- Coordinate diagnostic appointments with relevant facilities.
- Follow up to confirm diagnostic appointments are scheduled/completed.
- Send NC emails if a patient fails to complete a test.
- Follow up with the clinical team regarding missing diagnostic scripts.
- Lead our Referral Care Support
- Refer patients to specialists, cognitive therapy, EMGs etc…
- Track referrals, appointments, and patient compliance.
- Obtain specialist records.
- Lead our Compliance Care Support
- Send and log NC emails generated by the front desk daily.
- Prioritize missed initial appointments.
- Send second and third reminder emails weekly, notating on the sheet.
- Inform the financial team and relevant staff of settled or dropped cases.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Practice Management, Billing / RCM, or Healthcare Services Sales role; Bachelor’s degree is not required if sufficient length of experience in the above functions.
- Experience working with Personal Injury Attorneys, with significant working knowledge of the personal injury settlement process.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
