Job Duties

Handle external medical record requests
- Assist department with retrieving patient medical records release consent and following up with the external offices to obtain records
- Scan records into the appropriate system
- Field phone calls and assist with requests
- Provide consistent support/coverage as needed
- Enter and organize relevant data and information into the computer
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Additional Skills/Competencies
- Ability to maintain a strong confidentiality profile
- Ability to form interpersonal relationships (i.e. establish rapport with others)
- Ability to manage time effectively by setting priorities
Physical/Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
