What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self-Direction DSP - Fulton area (Job MH-AM) position at Exceptional Family Resources?
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in the Fulton area with a friendly young man who enjoys the outdoors, hiking, magnet fishing, sports, going to the YMCA, assembling and repairing a variety of things (grills, lawn mowers etc) . He also enjoys doing chores around the house and playing board games. He is looking for energetic, reliable, and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him outside and inside the home. Other responsibilities include providing him with transportation, teaching and assisting with independent living skills, and supporting him with health and safety.
We are looking for staff who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and respectful. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus but not a requirement. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Work Hours
Mondays thru Thursdays 10 am - 4 pm and every other Sunday. The pay rate is $20 per hour with mileage reimbursement.
