Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist customers with account management, including balance inquiries and transaction details.
- Utilize financial software to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to customer accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services that meet customer needs.
- Implement fraud prevention detection measures to protect customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the database.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance relationship management strategies.
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong math skills to assist customers with financial inquiries and transactions.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with financial software applications used in banking operations.
- Excellent relationship management skills to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when addressing customer concerns.
