We are a family owned and operated low voltage integrator specializing in Smart Homes, Home Theater, Lighting, Shades IP video, CCTV Security and Fire Systems. EE has been serving Southwest Florida for over 40 years. Executive Electronics is currently opening 2 new offices, one in Naples and one in Tampa. Our current need is for our Bonita Springs office.
There is current opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a service scheduler/dispatcher. Construction industry experience is preferred, however not required.
JOB SUMMARY:
Communicate with field technicians and customers to resolve service problems in an efficient manner. Schedule service technicians daily duties and maintain ongoing communications with customers and technicians to verify status of work. Attempt to resolve customer service problems using established procedures in a friendly and courteous manner.
JOB DUTIES:
- Schedule, route, and assign service tickets in a timely manner.
- Maintain control of service schedules and workflow to keep appointment commitments to customers.
- Perform data entry, filing, documentation, verification and correction of data, copying, mailing and other similar clerical tasks.
- May attempt to resolve customer service problems via the telephone utilizing established procedures in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Document, compile and correlate various reports including outage logs, on call updates, daily completion sheets, customer care reports, corporate reports, trouble calls, etc.
- May inform customers of services and promotions.
- When appropriate, dispatch technicians to solve customer problems for after hours following emergency call-out procedures.
- Maintain information in manuals and quick reference guides.
- May communicate pertinent information including customer service issues, outages, etc., to management.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.
KNOWLEDGE:
High school degree or the equivalent required. Must have the ability to perform routine dispatch functions such as answering telephones, Microsoft Office, data entry. Must be detailed oriented and organized. Previous scheduler/dispatch experience preferred.
HUMAN RELATIONS SKILLS:
Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and professional manner with customers and other employees. Must be assertive, independent, and reflect confidence in others and deal diplomatically with hostile and pressure situations.
PROBLEM SOLVING:
Must have the ability to recognize and resolve various customer service problems relating to security service within established guidelines and procedures before dispatching a technician. May monitor service technician schedules. Must be able to prioritize well, resetting goals to meet changing customer needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional light lifting of approximately 20 pounds. Long periods of sitting and data entry. Must be able to operate telephone, printer, and other office equipment. Frequent bending, sitting, movement. Must be able to effectively understand and communicate via in-person, telephone, and email.
