As an AutoCAD II operator you will be responsible for designing technical drawings. You will be creating solutions and designs.
The job role of an AutoCAD II operative involves the following duties:
- Cad Drafter II provides computer aided design drafting, prepares electrical drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches.
- Utilizes computer aided drafting software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare technical drawings.
- Able to coordinate and consult with designers and engineers to complete projects.
- Transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software.
- Reviews engineered drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established electrical specifications and standards.
- Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in current role.
- Proficient with AutoCAD software
- Experience with production of design drawings
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills.
- High level of discretion with confidential material
- Excellent customer service skills
