SCHEDULE: Monday-Sunday
HOURS: Vary, 40 Hours/Week **Weekend and Holiday availability required**

Essential Functions
- Moves tables and chairs to set up events;
- Cleans windows, fixtures and restrooms and empties trash to ensuring the Event Center is clean and organized
- Prepares Event Center by cleaning and stocking supplies
- Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list;
- Performs various basic maintenance of Event Center, grounds, and public facilities;
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools;
- Maintains grounds: mows, weeds, rakes, cuts and prunes bushes, landscapes;
- Adheres to all workplace and job specific safety guidelines, and uses personal protective equipment as instructed.
- Performs general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and application of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers;
- Performs related functions as required
- Knowledge of the methods, tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of facilities;
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance;
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures;
- Ability to interact effectively with the co-workers and the public
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients and patrons;
- Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to operate equipment safely
- Ability to operate motor vehicles (including light trucks) safely
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds;
- Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes
- Ability to work a non-standard workweek that will include weekends and holidays
