Essential duties and responsibilities

We are looking for IT Field Installers to support new site IT installations, booth deployments, and IT service requests. This hands-on role involves installing IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations across various locations. For the first five months, you will primarily focus on booth installations, which will require extensive travel from Monday to Thursday. After that, the role will shift to new site IT deployments and ongoing IT support, with continued travel.

Booth Installations (First 5 Months):

• Travel extensively (Monday-Thursday) for the first five months to install booths and the IT equipment needed for them.
• You will be asked to operate power tools, forklifts, and skid steers.

After the Booth project:

• Install and test networking, POS systems, computers, security, cameras printers, and other IT hardware.
• Work with our POS software vendor on the configuration and testing of the kiosk and point of sale devices.
• As needed, respond to and resolve IT service tickets related to hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and escalating POS issues as needed to higher-level support team

Job Requirement

• High school diploma or any higher education degree
• Experience working in retail technology is a plus along with any type of construction.
• Any type of hands-on experience with server mounts, POS systems, security cameras, networking (Cat5e/Cat6 wiring), and IT hardware installations is a plus.
• Physical labor is required, experience working with power tools, any type of concrete work, driving construction equipment is all going to be needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Willingness to travel extensively (Monday-Thursday) for the first 5 months and as needed for new site installs thereafter.
• Any type of electrical work is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Consistently lift over 20 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 70 pounds.
• Work in a variety of temperature conditions, including both cold and hot environments.
• Wear required safety equipment as needed.
• Travel is required Monday through Thursday.
• Work on weekends when necessary.
